Recently the Citroen C1 Racing Club was set up to help drivers into endurance motor racing and has taken UK motorsport by storm. 99 cars took to the grid in a 24 hour race at Silverstone, the biggest field of cars ever in UK motor racing.
You don't need 600 bhp to have fun in a car; feel and balance in a low powered car represents a tremendous challenge and is the formula that has proven so successful in the C1 Racing Club's endurance races for Citroen C1s with 68bhp. These little machines are fabulous to drive and whilst not offering earth shattering performance the challenge is to drive them consistently quickly and accurately, getting to the actual limit of the car is not achieved by many. To be bang on the pace in these cars is not easy and they are the ideal car in which to hone your skills and learn all about maintaining corner speeds with feel and finesse.
